The area is bound by 59th Street to 96th Street, and the East River to Fifth Avenue and Central Park.

The well-established residential nature of the Upper East Side makes the region one of the strongest rental communities in the city. The neighborhood is mainly built up of brownstones, pre-war buildings and high-rise apartments.

On every street corner you can find gourmet grocery markets, commercial banks, restaurants and bars that cater to the neighborhood’s large residential tenancy.
